Started as Simba in The Lion King at the tender age of 9, Matteo has continued to grow as a multi-talented performer across stage and live performances across Europe.
Other musical performances are Peter Pan, Benji in Priscilla The Desert Queen and others.
From 2014 to 2016 he also hosted “Magic English” the TV Show on Disney Junior Channel.
Matteo Markus Bok’s first breakthrough happened when he became finalist at TheVoice Kids Germany in 2016, winning over the Judges’ and audience hearts for his “lovable” style.
Matteo in 2017 took part of Italia’s Got Talent reaching millions of people with his first Italian single È diventata primavera. The video of his live performance has passed 1.2 million views receiving enthusiastic comments.
In May, Matteo released his first single Just One Lie, distributed by Sony Music Germany, followed by a very successful tour during which he met thousands of fans in 10 different cities.
In summer he was in the studio recording new songs. He’s been invited to many events in Germany from Nivea Tour to ZDF’s Fernsegarten and charity events like the famous Ein Hertz für Kinder on ZDF, Unicef Gala, RTL Charity Gala…
In August 2017, it was released the video of Miracle, his first ballad, while his second international single Sunshower was released in September.
In autumn 2017 Matteo’s popularity has increased in Italy too leading to a special appearance at music festival Cantagiro and to the opening of Jacob Sartorius concert in Milan in front of 2.000 screaming fans.
On December 2017 Matteo has performed in front of 15.000 people at the opening event of the Ischgl winter season in Austria.
December, 24th Matteo was special guest at Christmas Show “Weihnachten bei uns” on MDR TV.
2018 has begun with an explosion of opportunities for Matteo!
Matteo was selected by Disney to open for their international hit, Soy Luna all across Italy. Soy Luna is an Argentinian television show broadcast by Disney Channel Latin America since March 2016 and now in its third season.
Currently, the series is very popular all over the world and is broadcast in 150 countries with translation into 15 languages. Matteo was chosen by Disney, mainly for his international appeal and the fact that English is his primary language.
In addition, Matteo will be competing in Sanremo’s Festival in February, the most famous Italian singing show since 1951, a competition between singers from all across the country!
This year is the first one in which they accept teenagers! Chosen out of thousands, Matteo is one of the select 12 and he will be singing in Italian, one of the four languages he is capable of performing in!
